Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil as well as Telugu films, in addition to several Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress as the actor Savitri in her role in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). In addition, she has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the child of film producer G. Suresh Kumar, and actress Menaka G. Suresh. The career of Keerthy began in the 2000s when she was a child actor. Her return into the industry of film following her study of fashion. She had her first lead performance in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy started working on projects that were not Malayalam in 2015. In addition, she signed to star in several Tamil films at the same time. Her first film release is A. A. Vijay's romantic comedic Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu, though the film did not perform well at the box office. The busy schedule she had throughout the year resulted in her having to opt out of films that she was working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam in order to make room for larger projects. The result was that she worked on two films with Sivakarthikeyan within a short time, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the lead character on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film's release was pushed back in the year 2015, and will now occur after September in 2020. It'll have a different title Janakitho Nenu.
